Southeastern Oklahoma State University
Please read: how this estimate works
Please read. This calculator is intended to provide estimated net price information (defined as estimated cost of attendance — including tuition and required fees, books, course materials, supplies, and equipment, housing and food, and other related expenses — minus estimated grant and scholarship aid) to current and prospective students and their families, based on what similar students paid in a previous year.
By clicking below, I acknowledge that the estimate provided using this calculator does not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance, or a final net price. It is an estimate based on cost of attendance and financial aid provided to students in a previous year. Cost of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State.
Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for, and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance. For more information on applying for Federal student aid, go to https://studentaid.gov.
Note: Any information that you provide on this site is confidential. The Net Price Calculator does not store your responses or ask for personal identifying information of any kind.
Please note: The estimates above apply to full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students only. They are intended for students who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens, and are not intended for transfer, part-time, returning, graduate, international, or concurrent-enrollment students. Estimates may be less accurate for families with more complex financial circumstances, including self-employment, business or farm ownership, rental property, or separated or divorced parents. Awards based solely on athletic ability, and tuition waivers of any kind, are not reflected.
These estimates do not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price; they are only estimates based on cost of attendance and financial aid provided to students in 2025-2026, with Federal Pell Grant amounts estimated from the 2026-2027 full-time Pell Grant award schedule. Cost of attendance and financial aid availability changes year to year. These estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State.
Not all students receive grant and scholarship aid. In 2025-2026, 85% of our full-time students enrolling for college for the first time were awarded grant/scholarship aid. Students may also be eligible for student loans and work-study. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine their eligibility for Federal financial aid that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance. For more information on applying for Federal student aid, go to https://studentaid.gov/.
Southeastern’s federal school code is 003179. For help with any part of this process, contact the Office of Student Financial Aid on the first floor of the Administration Building at 580-745-2186 or financialaid@se.edu, or visit se.edu/financial-aid.
Scholarships are awarded through a separate application. Complete the General Scholarship Application at se.edu/financial-aid/scholarship-information; the priority date is March 1, and applications for the Honors Program, President’s Leadership Class, John Massey Leadership Scholars, and Parsons Scholars are due January 31. Applications received after the priority dates are considered only while funds remain.
This estimate is an annual figure covering fall and spring. Charges are billed by semester, so divide by two for a rough per-semester amount. Tuition, fees, and aid availability are set annually and are subject to change by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and Southeastern’s Board of Regents.
About these estimates. Tuition is based on full-time enrollment of 30 credit hours across fall and spring at Southeastern’s 2026-2027 rate and includes mandatory fees. On-campus housing and food reflect a standard double-occupancy room and meal plan; actual charges vary by hall and by the plan selected. Books, supplies, and other expenses are estimated averages and will vary by program and by student.
Costs not reflected. The other-expenses allowance shown is a general estimate for personal expenses and transportation. It does not account for course, program, or lab fees charged by certain majors, housing deposits, parking permits, health insurance, or travel to and from campus. Your actual cost may be higher than the figure shown here.
How aid is estimated. The Federal Pell Grant figure uses the 2026-2027 full-time Pell Grant award schedule applied to a median Student Aid Index for households of your size and income range. The University Scholarship and Foundation Scholarship figures are averages of actual awards to students of your residency status; individual awards vary, and no scholarship is guaranteed. Scholarships require a separate application. Neither average includes any award made by the Southeastern Athletics Department — athletic aid is not reflected anywhere in this estimate.
Aid not reflected. The estimate does not include the Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG), the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG), tribal higher-education grants, awards from the Southeastern Athletics Department, departmental scholarships, or private and outside scholarships. Most Southeastern students receive aid from at least one of these sources, so your actual net price is often lower than the figure shown.
Federal Work-Study and student loans are not grant aid and are not subtracted from the cost shown. Loans must be repaid.
Terms used. Cost of attendance is the total estimated cost of one academic year. Student Aid Index (SAI) is a number calculated from FAFSA data that measures a family’s ability to contribute toward college costs; it replaced the Expected Family Contribution beginning in 2024-2025. Net price is cost of attendance minus estimated grant and scholarship aid.
Oklahoma’s Promise. If you told us you qualify, the estimate includes Oklahoma’s Promise at Southeastern’s 2026-2027 rate of $243 per credit hour for 30 credit hours, or $7,290 per year. Oklahoma’s Promise pays tuition only; it does not cover fees, books, supplies, or housing. If you answered “I don’t know,” we made an estimated guess using the dependency status, household size, and income you entered, compared against the program’s income limits for dependent students: $60,000 with one or two dependent children, $70,000 with three or four, and $80,000 with five or more. Because household size doesn’t tell us exactly how many children are in your family, we applied the lower limit wherever it was unclear, and we did not estimate independent students as eligible. This guess is not a determination of eligibility. Oklahoma’s Promise is based on your parents’ income at the time you enrolled in the program, not today, and it also requires that you enrolled in 8th through 12th grade and applied before high school graduation, completed the required 15-unit high school curriculum with a 2.50 GPA, and met the program’s conduct requirements — none of which this calculator can check. Your family’s income must also remain at or below $100,000 each year you are in college. If you are still in high school, you can apply for Oklahoma’s Promise at OKcollegestart.org before you graduate, or review the full student requirements.
