Biography

Teriki Barnes is the director of the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Barnes is responsible for training, supervising, and evaluating EOC staff, and maintain positive relations with staff, participants, community referrals, host institution, secondary and postsecondary schools, and Department of Education officials; securing funding to continue EOC services and manage program budget and expenditures; and preparing and submitting progress within Department of Education guidelines. Barnes has been in her current position since 2008.
