Re-Imagining the home of Savage Storm Football
Named for legendary Southeastern coach, Paul Laird Field has been the home to Savage and Savage Storm Football programs since the 1940’s.
The time has come for a modernization of our on-campus stadium, and you can be a part of this transformation.
The University completed Phase I of this project in Spring 2025, which includes a new artificial turf playing surface and installation of wrought iron fencing around the complex to compliment the video board which was installed in the summer of 2024.
With an initial gift from Mike Herron, ’95, Phase II has already begun. Southeastern has developed architectural drawings and renderings for replacement of the home bleachers including chairback seats, and a modern multi-level press box to include luxury suites and an elevator.

You can put your name on one of the 500 chair-back seats, which will be the best seat in the house!
Naming these seats is $1,000 per seat.
This will include season tickets in that seat for the first season at Spend Life Wisely Stadium.
