Southeastern Oklahoma State University seeks Academic Counselor. 40 hrs/wk. $38,558 per year. Duties: Prepare workshops designed to help first-generation college students, students with disabilities and students from a limited-income background develop their career goals and acquire skills necessary for a successful career search. Develop and deliver workshops for students on the application process and preparation for graduate school. Maintain a caseload of 100 students from at-risk populations including first generation, limited income, and students with documented disabilities. Work to ensure students are meeting satisfactory academic progress and provide academic, financial aid, graduate school and career counseling, and plan and implement cultural experiences. Maintain detailed records and establish relationships with campus professionals for the purpose of referrals and connecting students to resources. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field.
