Mission
- Experience a day in the life of a piano major at Southeastern.
- The event is open to high school pianists of all levels, from beginners to advanced players.
- The camp offers prospective students free private piano lessons, opportunities for ensemble collaboration, and a chance to perform in a public recital.

Repertoire
Participants should bring at least one prepared solo piece for their private lesson. Please bring an original score and a copy for faculty use. Four-hand repertoire may be assigned in advance or provided by the camp when appropriate.

Guidelines
- Free tuition. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and any meals not specifically provided by the camp.
- Students interested in performing in the public recital should prepare one solo work or movement.
- Memorization is encouraged but not required.
- Students should bring an original score and a copy for faculty use.
- All events are educational and open to the general public.
Schedule
9:00 a.m. — Check-in and orientation
9:30 a.m. — Private lessons
11:30 a.m. — Group discussions: piano technique, memorization, healthy practice habits
12:00 p.m. — Lunch
1:00 p.m. — Chamber music: sight-reading duets
1:30 p.m. — Piano literature
2:00 p.m. — Private lessons
3:00 p.m. — Public student recital
4:00 p.m. — Activities conclude
The public student recital will take place in the Fine Arts Recital Hall, where participants will enjoy playing on a Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand Piano. Students will have access to seven practice rooms to warm up throughout the entire day.
