My SE Story

“The first (SE) organization I joined was Native American Student Association. The people there were so fun and so cool. I remember being super shy, but I wanted to be a part of it. I also joined Film Club where I met my best friend. I met some of my best friends from these organizations, such as BCM and SGA. Savage Storm Leaders helped me be myself...All of these different organizations helped me grow into the person I am today and become confident in the man I am today.”

My SE Story

“I have enjoyed my time at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and was initially drawn to the Masters in Native American Leadership program because it has a unique curriculum, and that it is online. The MS Native American Leadership program offers a well-rounded mix of Native American studies and business-based courses, which will translate well into working with my tribal community in the future. I feel I have a better understanding of historical issues impacting American Indians, and this has served me well when addressing contemporary issues facing tribes today.”
