Greg Kent is a retired Lt Col with over 20 years of Air Force experience and 3000+ hours in multiple aircraft.  He led 190 highly experienced instructors to graduate over 1000 new aviators in 2 years.  In over 7000 flying hours training the Air Force’s newest aviators, his squadron was rated #1 of 16 safety programs for two consecutive years.   After retiring from active duty, Greg joined in the energy sector where he was responsible for business operations in addition to safety.  His company wide safety focus elevated the company’s industry safety rating to #1 through near-miss reporting, root cause analysis, and an enhanced incentive programs.  After joining a private equity backed midstream company, Greg was key to the implementation of an industrial safety program covering 2.1M+ manhours with only 3 recordable injuries over 5 years—exceeding industry safety benchmarks.  Greg has recently joined the Oklahoma Safety Council as Executive Director.
