Department of Biological Sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences has a program in Biology and in Fisheries & Wildlife.  The Biology program helps prepare students for careers in the medical sciences such as medical doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and physician assistant, as well as prepares students for veterinary or graduate school.  Additionally there are options for Botany and Zoology to prepare students for graduate programs and careers in zoological parks, horticulture and conservation.  The Fisheries & Wildlife program prepares students for a wide variety of careers such as a Wildlife/Fisheries biologist/technician, preserve manager, park ranger/naturalist and game warden.
