Journalism Emphasis

In the Journalism emphasis, students study journalism practices including interviewing and research techniques, as well as investigative, feature, and editorial writing. Media Studies students also develop skills in photojournalism. The Journalism emphasis equips students with the real-world, dead-line driven skills needed to successfully contribute to regional and community newsrooms.
