Archives

This is the landing page for the archives at Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library. This page will evolve over time as more collections or specific exhibits are digitized and shared with the SOSU community. The library’s resources to digitize are limited at this time but improving, as is the skill and knowledge of our staff to ensure the preservation, organization, and access to information contained within the archives.

At this time most of what is available in the archives is not digitized. Since many of the materials are special, fragile, and sometimes rare, a staff member must accompany a patron at all times in the archives. This necessitates an appointment. Most appointments are scheduled in hour blocks, but for those travelling long distances or doing deep research, exceptions can and will be made but we need to know in advance to ensure we have the staffing to meet your needs.

Click on this link to access scheduling form. The form will open in a new tab.
