- What is Mathematica?
Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with ongoing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
“What is Mathematica?” This talk by Dr. Moretti is meant as a general overview of Mathematica rather than a detailed look at how to do specific items.
If you are interested in learning more about Mathematica and how to use it, there is a free textbook available for download as well as a library of Mathematica demonstrations. Dr. Moretti can set up more specific talks that go into more detail or work with various faculty as his schedule allows. Interested students can also take MATH 2003 – Technology for Mathematics, where two-thirds of the semester is spent on Mathematica.
