SE CLOSED JAN 26-30

With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.

2023 Distinguished Alumni Awards Banquet

Southeastern Oklahoma State University will honor eight Distinguished Alumni during homecoming festivities September 22-23. The recipients include Lt. Governor Chris Anoatubby, Wren Baker, Capt. Johnathan Benton, Billy Jack Bowen, Jeff Frye, Chief Warrant Officer Brady Rudolf, Dr. James Stewart, and Dr. Anthony Waldroup.

The banquet will take place on Friday, September 22 in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium on the corner of 1st and University Blvd. in Durant. A reception will be held at 4:30 p.m. and doors will open at 5:15 p.m.
