Master of Music Education
The Master in Music Education degree provides the opportunity for students to further develop and synthesize skills and attributes of an effective classroom teacher, music administrator, and leader in the profession. The course of instruction is designed to use students’ current level of experience, knowledge, and skill as a foundation for deeper study and understanding.
The Master of Music Education degree can be completed online in four semesters and one summer, enabling teachers to continue their current occupation while earning their graduate degree.
Program Outcomes
Graduates from the Master of Music Education program from the Department of Music at Southeastern Oklahoma State University hold positions in teaching and administrative roles in Music Education programs throughout the state and region.
