The Henry G. Bennett Memorial Library provides materials and services to meet the information needs of both graduate and undergraduate students; face to face and online learners. The collection includes over 193,000 monograph volumes, almost 590,000 microforms, subscribes to over 3,400 print and non-print periodicals, as well as selected newspapers, sound recordings, videos, and software. The library serves as a regional review center for the state of Oklahoma adopted textbooks program, with currently 18,000 items in that collection. It serves as a selective Government Documents Depository, collection at about 30%, providing access to approximately 145,000 print and non-print Federal and State documents.
Our Databases, containing abstracts and full-text articles from magazines and journals on the Internet, aid patrons in accessing scholarly information from anywhere at any time. The library has access through its periodical databases to almost 86,000 full-text online journal titles. Approximately 14,500 electronic books are accessible through the catalog via NetLibrary, Ebsco eBooks, Salem Press and Gale Virtual Reference library. Through the online database Westlaw, the Library has access to thousands of federal and state court cases, statutes, and administrative decisions. Articles on musical terms can be found in the Oxford Music Online database, just to name a few.
