Important Deadlines

Throughout the academic year, there are key dates for documentation to be filed. Here are a few to remember.

2026-2027 FAFSA® is available now.

Fall 2026

To ensure that you have time to be evaluated for a book store charge account for classes starting on August 17th, your file must be complete by August 3rd, and you must have a refund amount of at least $500.

Book charges

Book charges for classes starting August 17th: August 5th-31th
Book charges for classes starting October 12th: October 1st-23rd

Appeal deadline for classes starting August 17th: September 21st
Appeal deadline for only classes starting October 12th: November 15th

If you do not successfully complete the appeal process before the deadline for the current semester, you will not be eligible to receive financial aid for the current semester. If you miss the deadline, you can complete an appeal for the next semester, but you will not be eligible to receive financial aid for the semester you are appealing.

For example, if you submit an appeal for the Fall semester on November 15th, you will not be eligible to receive financial aid for the Fall semester, but you could be approved to receive financial aid for future semesters. Additionally, appeals will not be reviewed for a semester if grades are already posted on your transcript for that semester.
