Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Wednesday, January 28, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with continuing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.

Through Southeastern’s General Scholarship Application, fully-admitted students will qualify for new freshmen, new transfer, current student, and out-of-state student scholarships. Submit this single application to be applied to the scholarships you qualify for.

American Indian College Fund

Provides scholarships to Native American students pursuing vocational, undergraduate, and graduate degrees at tribal colleges and universities, and other accredited institutions.

Native Forward Scholars Fund:

(formerly known as the American Indian Graduate Center) offers a wide range of scholarships, internships, and other funding opportunities for Native American students.

American Indian Services

Provides scholarships to help undergraduate Native American/Alaska Native students attend college and succeed.

Catching the Dream:  

    • Catching the Dream has three separate scholarship programs, the MESBECNALE, and TBM program.
    •  100% of the CTD students who have graduated with a degree in math, engineering, science, business, education or computers is working- over 85% of them for tribes or tribal organizations.
    • The range of CTD scholarships is from $500 to $5,000 per year, based on merit. Over 95% of students who applied have been awarded a scholarship.
