Southeastern Oklahoma State University will observe summer hours from May 29 – July 28, 2023. Offices will be open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Campus tours will be given Monday-Friday. Click here to schedule a tour.

Student Support Services

Student Support Services (SSS) is fully funded by a federal grant through the U.S. Department of Education and the TRiO program. Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s SSS program is one of over 1200 programs across the country.

SSS helps eligible students successfully complete their post secondary education by providing a foundation for overcoming academic, personal, and cultural barriers to higher education. By fostering a highly personalized (one-on-one) environment, SSS staff strives to build professional and personal relationships with students in order to carefully assess their individual needs and to offer appropriate academic, personal, and career support.

Eligibility

  • First generation college student (neither parent has obtained 4-year degree)
  • Financial need
  • Disability (documentation through the office of Disability Services or Vocational Rehabilitation)
  • In addition, applicant must show academic need.

Student Support Services (SSS) is 100% funded by a federal grant through the U. S. Department of Education in the amount of $410,844 annually.
