Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Wednesday, January 28, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with continuing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
Southeastern is a forerunner in Native American-centered academics. We offer on-campus and online undergraduate majors, minors, graduate degrees, and graduate degree emphasis options. Students who invest in any of these degrees are equipped with historical and cultural knowledge of Native heritages to take into their professions.
