Ticketing

Tickets may be placed on “will call” and paid for by credit card, or as for payment due when tickets are picked up. Tickets on hold, not paid in advance, are not guaranteed available in the event the tickets are unclaimed & not paid for by the start time posted for the show to begin, those tickets will be sold to stand-by patrons.

NOTE: All sales are final, no refunds allowed.

Discounts offered:

  • Student includes elementary, middle, high school, college, tech school, & Universities.
  • Senior – ages 60 +
  • Military – active or retired person only (not a family discount)

Tickets will also be sold the night of each performance at the theatre in which the show is being performed. Ticket sales will begin one hour prior to show time.

2020-21 Season Schedule

September 28, 2020 - "Stone Soup" Open Close

“Stone Soup” is a tale about three soldiers who come across a town in need of help. Together, the soldiers show the villagers how to make soup from stones and learn that when we all pull together, we can do great things. This beloved children’s story was brought to life with the voices of Danilynn Brown, Dorothy Fuhr, Aliyah Gray, Lexee Jackson, Jacob Shaw, Robert Turner, and Winter Wilson, who are the students of the Intro. to Acting class.

October 9, 2020 - "Suffrage" Open Close

The season begins with a new drama “Suffrage” based on the centennial of the passage of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote.  “Suffrage” looks at the broad topic of voter rights through the eyes of an Oklahoma movement leader Aloysius Larch-Miller, who gave her very life to ensure that the Oklahoma legislature voted to ratify the important amendment. “Suffrage” will be a filmed theatrical event launching October 9 on Theatre at Southeastern’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

October 16, 2020 - "The Headless Horseman of Sleep Hollow" Open Close

In October is the first of two radio drama’s to be produced by the theatre program.  Starlight Radio Theatre’s  “The Headless Horseman of Sleep Hollow” will premier October 16 on KSSU and stream on Facebook. “This classic and creepy tale is the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirits,” said Dell McLain.

November 6-7, 2020 - "Holiday Follies" Open Close

Holiday Follies at Southeastern’s Magnolia Drive-In!

Theatre at Southeastern proudly presents the 2020 Holiday Follies!  November 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. will be our first ever Magnolia Drive-In Theatre. The audience will pull into the parking lot as in days of old, tune in on their car’s FM dial, but instead of a movie, they will be treated to a live outdoor version of the annual Holiday Follies production.

With a nip in the air and a song in their heart Southeastern’s Chorvettes and Sparks will broadcast to your car a host of holiday favorites.  Fill a Thermos bottle with hot chocolate, pack the Christmas cookies and enjoy this exciting new performance in the comfort of your own car!  Tickets are $20 per car and all proceeds benefit the theatre program and student scholarships.

Policies under the university guidelines on social distancing:

  • Tickets MUST be purchased with VISA/MC in advance by calling the box office at (580) 745-2696
  • Tickets, credit card receipts, and directions to the event will be emailed upon payment
  • There will be NO ticket sales at the performance.
  • Parking begins at 6:15 p.m.
  • Audience must follow parking attendant instructions
  • Once parked, the audience is not permitted to leave their vehicle during the 50-minute performance.
  • Please note there are NO restroom facilities available.
  • Cars will be parked according to height profile: SUVs and trucks in the back, sedans and compacts in the front.
November 12-13, 2020 - "Twelfth Night" Open Close

Join us for a one act version of William Shakespeare’s classic comedy Twelfth Night. Mix-ups and mayhem beset a small island kingdom when a shipwreck washes ashore a host of lovers and lunatics. November 12 & 13 bring a thermos of hot chocolate, a lap blanket, maybe a cushion to sit on and join the theatre program in the season’s first mainstage show produced in the SE amphitheater in over a quarter century!

• Tickets, credit card receipts, and directions to the event will be emailed upon payment

• There will be NO ticket sales at the performance.

• Curtain Time is 7:30 pm

• Seating is general admission

• Seating is concrete, cushions are recommended

• The performance will be less than 50 minutes

• There will be no intermission

• Please note there are NO restroom facilities available.

• Seating on the street level is reserved for ADA

• Audience will be required to sign in for contact tracing once seated

• Warm clothing is recommended

• Food and drink are permitted. Please pick up your trash.
