Dell McLain receives
Excellence In Teaching Award
Professor Dell McLain, Chair of the Department of Art, Communication & Theatre at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, is a recipient of the 2010 Oklahoma Higher Education Conference Excellence in Teaching Award.
McLain joined other faculty members from across the state at the awards luncheon recently at the Conference at Northeastern State University.
"Dell is very deserving of this recognition," said Southeastern president Larry Minks. "His enthusiasm, coupled with his innovative teaching methods, have benefited many students over the years. He is indeed an outstanding representative of the University."
A graduate of Southeastern and the University of New Orleans, McLain joined the SE faculty in 1998. Previous teaching positions include Northeastern State University and Austin College.
