Southeastern Oklahoma State University serves as the state headquarters for Oklahoma Small Business Development Centers (OKSBDC). The network of OKSBDC is fully accredited by the National Association of Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC). In 2011-2012 alone, OKSBDC assisted in the startup of 275 new Oklahoma businesses and assisted more than 4,000 small businesses in retaining an estimated 1,070 jobs.
