SE Live open house set for Nov. 11

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University will host Southeastern Live! Open House and College Day on Nov. 11, 2009 and Feb. 10, 2010.
Southeastern Live! is the University's largest open house and a perfect opportunity for high school juniors and seniors, along with their parents and families, to experience life at Southeastern.

Students attending Southeastern Live! will be able to explore campus and residence life, experience Southeastern traditions, attend a class, visit with admissions and financial aid departments, and meet personnel from various academic departments.
Interaction with current Southeastern students will be a highlight of the event. Students will receive one free lunch ticket and all students attending will receive a Southeastern Sackpack.
Southeastern Live! Registration and Check-in will be from 8-9 a.m. in the lobby of Morrison Hall and a Welcome Session is scheduled from 9-9:50 a.m. in Montgomery Auditorium inside Morrison Hall.
From 10-10:50 a.m., students may choose from the Campus Tour; Go to Class with Music in American Society; Southeastern Question and Answer with a Student Panel; or My Perfect College FIT.
A second student-choice session will be held from11-11:50 a.m. featuring the Campus Tour; College Success Class 101; Bonfires, Football Runs, and Candlelighting – Southeastern traditions; and Money Matters, President's Leadership Class, Honors Programs and Scholarships.
Lunch on the Lawn is scheduled from 12-1 p.m. with an Academic Department and Student Life Browse Session and entertainment featuring several Southeastern performing groups, including the Chorvettes, Sparks Dance Team and the Drama Team.
A third student-choice session is set for 1-1:50 p.m., with the Campus Tour; Savage Storm Athletics Open House (visit facilities); Chorale Open House; Band Open House; Aviation Open House and Airport Visits; and the Admissions and Financial Aid Open House.
