High school students honored at Tri-County Honors event

Keynote speaker Reggie Whitten offers remarks to the honorees at the Tri-County Honors event as Greg Massey of First United and Southeastern president Larry Minks look on.

DURANT, Okla. – The Tri-County Honors Program, co-sponsored by First United Bank and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, was held Tuesday night in the Visual & Performing Arts Center on campus.

Oklahoma City attorney and FATE (Fighting Addiction through Education) co-founder Reggie Whitten was the keynote speaker.

A reception opened the evening and was followed by the honors award ceremony.

Greg Massey, Chief Executive Officer of the First United Bank and Trust Company, and Southeastern president Larry Minks offered welcoming remarks at the event.

Liz McCraw, Dean of Enrollment Management, introduced school administrators who then introduced the honorees from their respective schools.

First United Community Bank Presidents Chris Moore, Bokchito; Daryl Mulkey, Calera; Scott Stidham, Durant; John Worthy, Hugo; and Rick Lane, Madill, were also on hand to congratulate the students.
