Alumni Speaker: Alan Crone

Crone is a Southeastern alumnus who began his broadcasting career in May 1982 at KNED in McAlester. In 1994, he joined KXII-TV in Sherman, Texas and served as weather anchor. While at KXII, he won the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters’ Best Weathercast in a Small Market award in 1996, 1998, and 2000. Crone then joined the News on 6 WARN Team in 2006 and will celebrate 20 years at the station this fall.
