Graduate Education Council
Function: The Graduate Council will periodically review graduate programs and make recommendations for any needed policy changes. Upon approval by the Graduate Council, recommendations pertaining to academic policies and curriculum matters concerning graduate programs will be made directly to the Academic Council. The Graduate Council will approve membership on the graduate faculty. The Graduate Council will serve as an appeals committee on applications for admission to the graduate programs and admission to candidacy for all graduate degrees. In addition, the Graduate Council will act on all graduate matters in teacher education after they are submitted by the Teacher Education Council. (APPM 3.6.1)
