Oklahoma Small Business Development Center

Helping Small Businesses Grow & Succeed

Southeastern Oklahoma State University (SE), in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), established the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center Network in 1984. SE continues to serve as the lead university in a statewide consortium of private and public partners including the SBA, tribal nations, as well as many other entities and organizations including, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and Main Street programs. Banks and commercial lenders across the state are also key supporters of Oklahoma SBDC. Oklahoma SBDC is one of 62 SBDC programs existing in every state in the nation as well as in many U.S. territories.

Oklahoma SBDC business advisors assist business owners and entrepreneurs in many areas relevant to starting and expanding their businesses including financial analysis, capital sources, industry research, international trade, market research, digital marketing and social media, management support, business disruption management, economic impact analysis, and geographic information systems.

In addition to general management advising services, the Oklahoma SBDC has established the Tech Launch Center on the campus of SE.  The advisors in the Tech Launch Center assist clients with the path to commercialization for new or innovative products with opportunities to contract with the Department of Defense and other government agencies.

Oklahoma SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.  All opinions, conclusions, and/or recommendations expressed herein are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the SBA.  All programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
