On Friday, May 3, master’s degrees will be conferred at 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 4, baccalaureate degrees will be awarded at 9 a.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena. “I have enjoyed my time at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and was initially drawn to the Masters in Native American Leadership program because it has a unique curriculum, and that it is online. The MS Native American Leadership program offers a well-rounded mix of Native American studies and business-based courses, which will translate well into working with my tribal community in the future. I feel I have a better understanding of historical issues impacting American Indians, and this has served me well when addressing contemporary issues facing tribes today.”
