Prospective Teacher Academy & Teacher Education Fair 2022
We have an amazing opportunity for you to participate at Southeastern on April 1, 2022. We will be hosting our first-ever Prospective Teacher Academy at Southeastern hosted by the SE Department of Educational Instruction & Leadership!! This event is designed for high school juniors and seniors interested in the teaching field, as well as current teachers and administrators. If you attend on April 1, you will get to hear from SIX former Oklahoma State Teachers of the Year (including Jon Hazell of Durant), as well as several other state leaders in education about why the profession of teaching is one of the greatest opportunities for you to make a positive impact on your world. Participants registered before the March 23, 2022, deadline will be ensured lunch. We will have T-shirts, prizes, and drawings for scholarships for all registered attendees prior to the final registration deadline, March 31, 2022. High School Student Registration
In conjunction with the Prospective Teacher Academy, the SE Career Management Center will be hosting the SE Spring Education Career Fair on April 1, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Room. The Education Career Fair is the ideal place for SE students and alumni to network with a growing list of school districts seeking candidates for teachers, administrators, counselors, coaches and other roles.
While this is an in-person event, the SE Career Management Center will host this event through Handshake. The career fair is FREE and open to all SE students/alumni and all employers!
