DURANT, Okla. – “Super Saturday’’ – one of the biggest events of the year on campus – will be held February 23 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Last year, some 600 junior high and high school students and parents were in attendance.
This year’s activities include the Oklahoma Science Olympiad, Vocal Music auditions, Theatre auditions, Honors scholarship competition, and President’s Leadership Class scholarship competition.
Also, an Academic Department Fair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union. During this time, faculty members will be available to visit with prospective students.
Activities will be held at various venues across campus.
In addition, the Southeastern Office of Admissions and Recruitment will be on hand to offer campus tours for visitors.
That afternoon will also be a busy one for Southeastern athletics on campus, and visitors are encouraged to attend the following games:
Baseball doubleheader against Southwestern Oklahoma, 1 p.m., The Ballpark in Durant
Women’s basketball vs. Arkansas-Monticello, 1 p.m., Bloomer Sullivan Arena
Men’s basketball vs. Arkansas-Monticello, 3 p.m., Bloomer Sullivan Arena
