DURANT, Okla. – Montgomery Auditorium was filled to capacity Monday night as Southeastern Oklahoma State University presented the 99th edition of Candlelighting.
Anchored by the Southeastern Symphonic Chorus, additional performances were presented by the Southeastern Symphonic Winds, the Southeastern Chorale, the Durant High School Varsity Mixed Chorus, and the SHARE chorus.
Members of the Cardinal Key Honor Society served as candlelighters.
Dr. Alicia Wallace and Dr. Jeremy Blackwood joined a chamber orchestra and the Symphonic Chorus for a performance of Franz Schubert’s Mass in G, and the assembled musicians and audience joined in for a festival carol singalong at the conclusion of the event.
Candlelighting was directed by Dr. Josh Nannestad.
