DURANT, Okla. – Students from 12 area schools participated in Eighth Grade Career Discovery Day Thursday at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Professionals from a variety of fields visited with students at this sixth annual event, including Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma pilot Quentin McLarry and former Oklahoma Teacher of the Year Jon Hazell of Durant – both of whom are Southeastern graduates.
