“Super Saturday’’ set for February 22 at Southeastern

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University will once again host “Super Saturday’’ – one of the year’s biggest events on campus – on February 22.

As many as 600 middle school and high school students and their parents are expected to attend. Students will be competing for scholarships in such areas as Honors, President’s Leadership Class, and Music.  Also taking place will be Theatre Audition Day and Art Demo Day for students interested in those fields.

In addition, for the fifth year in a row, Southeastern will be hosting the Oklahoma Science Olympiad that day with students scheduled to participate from schools in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Kansas.

Activities will be held at various venues across campus. The Office of Admissions and Recruitment will be providing tours, and financial aid and  scholarship information will also be provided.

An Academic Department Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union. During this time, prospective students can visit with faculty members.
