- Students move back to campus as classes start Aug. 17
With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.

DURANT, Okla. – Students began the time-honored process of moving back to campus this week at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The return started with sign-ins in front of the Glen D. Johnson Student Union, with students proceeding to their respective residence halls. Many were accompanied by the familiar sight of family members who assisted in transporting items into individual rooms.

Fall classes begin on Monday, August 17, with both face-to-face and remote instruction being offered.
