- Distinguished Alumna Sharla Frost releases new book
With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.

DURANT, Okla. – Sharla J. Frost, attorney and Distinguished Alumna of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, is the author of a new book titled, POWER AT THE TABLE: Guide to Gaining Clients and Control – The Law Firm Marketing Maverick Teaches How to Develop You Own Book of Business.
The book is described as the Women Lawyer’s Guide to developing lawyers and control.
Frost graduated from Southeastern in 1984, majoring in English and speech communication. She graduated from Baylor Law School in 1987, then litigated civil cases on behalf of corporate defendants in jurisdictions across the United States for more than 30 years. She is a former President of Litigation Counsel of America and an active member of the National Association of Women Lawyers.
Frost, who resides in Oklahoma, recently retired from trial practice and maintains a solo specialty practice in Houston, Texas.
Frost was honored by Southeastern as a Distinguished Alumna in 2004.
