- 265 COVID-19 Vaccinations Administered Wednesday at Southeastern
With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University partnered with the Oklahoma State Department of Health Wednesday to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to all SE faculty, staff and students. Others eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine were retired University faculty and staff and Southeastern alumni from Bryan County.
A total of 265 individuals were administered vaccinations at the event, which was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union.
Participants pre-registered through an online link.
The second Pfizer vaccine will be administered on April 28.
