- Second vaccination event is April 28 for Southeastern students, faculty, staff
With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
In partnership with the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be hosting a second COVID-19 vaccination event on campus on Wednesday, April 28.
The same two entities hosted a similar event on March 31.
The second dose of Pfizer vaccine will be administered to Southeastern students, faculty and staff on April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union. Those members of the Southeastern community who received the first dose of Pfizer on March 31 are eligible to receive the second dose on campus – they have received an email with a registration link. In addition, those in the SE community who received the Pfizer vaccine elsewhere may receive their second dose on campus April 28.
Participants should bring a Driver’s License/Photo ID and their SE ID to their appointment.
