- Southeastern Faculty Senate presents annual awards
With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
DURANT, Okla. – The faculty at Southeastern Oklahoma State University recently announced its award recipients for the year.
Among the honorees were Dr. Brooks Flippen, Lifetime Achievement Award; Riley Coker, Professor of the Year; and Alisha Ridenour, Adjunct Professor of the Year.
Awards were also presented for teaching, service, and scholarship in the School of Arts & Sciences (A&S) , School of Education & Behavioral Sciences (EBS) , John Massey School of Business (JMSB), and Arts & Letters.
