- Southeastern hosts Texoma College Fair on September 16
With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
More than 500 high school students from southern Oklahoma and north Texas are expected to attend the Texoma College Fair at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
The event will be held on September 16 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
Representatives from Southeastern and other schools will be in attendance to answer questions regarding admissions, scholarships, financial aid, and programs of study. Representatives will be coming from Oklahoma, Texas, and surrounding states to provide information and assist students.
