The Southeastern Chorale of Southeastern Oklahoma State University will present its Fall Concert, New Beginnings: Songs of Perseverance, Hope, and Joy, on Thursday, November 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall on the Durant campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Abby Musgrove, first-year Director of Choral Activities, is looking forward to live concerts and audiences.
“The Southeastern Chorale has a long-standing tradition of excellence, and it’s exciting to be able to share that amazing sound with the public again, after a year of virtual performances, ” she said.
The concert will feature a variety of styles and eras of music, from Renaissance motets and J.S. Bach, to gospel and Dolly Parton.
“There’s a little something for everyone, no matter your musical preferences,” Musgrove said. “We hope everyone will find joy and inspiration through our music.’’
