Southeastern closed Jan. 17 for MLK holiday; service projects planned throughout week

January 11, 2022

Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed Monday, January 17, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

However, the University will continue its longstanding tradition of community service in honor of the holiday with projects throughout the rest of the week (Tuesday-Friday).

Students, faculty, and staff volunteers will be participating in a number of community service projects, including working at a local food bank; supporting Durant Main Street; campus beautification; and downtown cleanup efforts.
