- Southeastern hosts PLC-Honors Competition/Scholars Day on February 19
With continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures, Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Friday, January 30, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
High school students from throughout the area will be vying for scholarships February 19 on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University as part of PLC-Honors Competition/Scholars Day.
Students will be competing for SE scholarships in the President’s Leadership Class and Honors Program.
In addition, Aviation Visitation Day will be held on campus on Friday, February 18.
