- Southeastern hosts Curriculum Contest on March 30
Due to a city water issue affecting campus, Southeastern’s campus will be closed on Friday, May 15. Please continue to monitor your email and official university social media channels for updates.
Some 2,000 students from 60-plus schools throughout the region are expected to participate in the Oklahoma Inter-High School Curriculum Meet on March 30 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Students will compete in academic contests in such areas as art, accounting, speech, English, mathematics, foreign languages, psychology, and history.
This event dates back to 1910, when it was first held and known as the Southeastern High School Track Meet.
Dr. James Britton is the contest director, and Southeastern faculty and staff will serve as event volunteers to help coordinate the event.
