- Fall classes begin Aug. 22 at Southeastern
Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Wednesday, January 28, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with continuing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.

DURANT, Okla. – The beginning of another semester is right around the corner as fall classes will commence on Monday, Aug. 22, at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
In preparation for the start of the semester, a number of activities are scheduled:
Aug. 3-4 – The Big Blue Experience (student orientation)
Aug. 17 — Faculty Symposium
Aug. 17 — New faculty orientation
Aug. 18 — Faculty-Staff General meeting
Aug. 19-20 – Camp SE orientation
Aug. 20 – Freshman Convocation
