- University sees classroom improvements across campus
Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Wednesday, January 28, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with continuing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
University sees classroom improvements across campus

DURANT, Okla. – Just in time for the start of the fall semester, a number of classrooms are receiving a facelift at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
The classroom improvement project will see enhancements and improvements completed in several buildings across campus. Various classrooms are being upgraded with new LED lighting, painting, new flooring and furniture, and technology.
And by summer’s end, 23 classrooms will have new tables/chairs, and 35 classrooms will have new lecterns, which are equipped with new computers and dual monitors.
New furniture is also being installed at the Southeastern-McCurtain County campus.
Fall semester classes begin Aug. 22.
