Southeastern is set for its final Calm Before the Storm of the 2022-23 season when it hosts its Spring edition on Jan. 30 which will feature coaches and athletes form baseball, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, golf, and track and field and is slate for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium in the Turf Room of the Sports Performance Center.
Lunch will be provided, while 2023 schedule cards will also be available. The event is open to the general public including SE students, alumni, fans, corporate partners, and community members.
Those in attendance will hear from featured speakers including baseball coach Zach Crabtree, new softball coach Mackenzie Sher, tennis coach Brian Nelson, track and field coach Stephanie Heald, and golf coach Sydney Youngblood.
Southeastern Director of Athletics Keith Baxter will also give remarks. Jay Lindly, sales manager at Mix 96.1 FM and the radio voice of the Storm on the Southeastern Sports Network, will be the emcee for the event.
