DURANT – At approximately 3:38 p.m. on Friday, December 15, emergency medical personnel responded to a call at Chickasaw Hall on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University for a reported unresponsive person.
The individual was transported to Alliance Health Durant, where they were pronounced deceased. The individual was confirmed to be a current student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
The incident will remain under investigation by the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Police Department and local authorities – foul play is not suspected.
The university asks for privacy for the student’s family, but encourages thoughts and prayers from the extended Southeastern family.
