- Dr. Catalin Dima piano recital re-scheduled for February 13

Dr. Catalin Dima, assistant professor of piano at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, will perform a piano recital featuring the work of six composers on Tuesday, February 13. This recital was originally scheduled for January, but was postponed during winter weather closures.
The recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the recital hall of the Fine Arts Building. Admission is free.
Dima will play selections from work by composers Franz Liszt, Sergei Bortkeiewicz, Maurice Ravel, George Enescu, Paul Constantinescu, and Carmen Petra-Basacopol in the recital.

About Dr. Catalin Dima
A native of Bucharest, Romania, Dr. Dima holds degrees from Shenandoah University (D.M.A.), Mannes School of Music (M.M.), and the Romanian National University of Music in Bucharest (M.M., B.M.). He is also the founder and the artistic director of the Texoma Piano Competition and the artistic director of the Musical Art Series at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Among his previous engagements, Catalin has performed at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, the Preston Bradley Hall (Chicago), the Cosmos Club (Washington D.C.), the International House (D.C. and NYC), the Romanian Cultural Institute (NYC), the Klavierhaus (NYC), the Karura Hall (Tokyo) and the Romanian Athenaeum (Bucharest).
