- Theatre at Southeastern to host KCACTF Showcase on Friday

Theatre at Southeastern will present the KCACTF Showcase this Friday, February 23, at 7 p.m. in the Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC) on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Admission to the event is free, but tickets should be requested by calling (580) 745-2696 or visiting www.SE.edu/VPAC. Theatre at Southeastern gives this performance an R-rating for adult language and themes.
The Showcase will feature Southeastern students who will be performing at the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival Region 6 competition in Abilene, Texas, next week.
Productions of Stop Kiss and Don’t Dress for Dinner were entered into competition, with eight Theatre at SE students competing in the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition and three students competing in the design and technical theatre competition. A total of nine SE students will participate with 12 entries across the various disciplines (Click here for previously announced information on Regional Competition).
Students whose work will be showcased are Karlie Carr from Kingston, Trista Davidson, from Durant, Audrey Dorn from Tulsa, Dottie Fuhr from Sherman, Texas, Alexander McKissick from Denison, Texas, Jude Scheibmeir from Sherman, Texas, Kelly Smith from Durant, Robbie Turner from Paris, Texas, and Olivia Wilson from Durant.
