Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s acclaimed Chorvettes musical performance ensemble will host the “Red River Revue” this Friday and Saturday (April 12 & 13) in Montgomery Auditorium.
Performances will begin at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $10 apiece and are available at www.SE.edu/VPAC or by calling (580) 745-2696.
This year’s Red River Revue will feature 10 performances by the full ensemble and a number of solo and smaller group performances. The Chorvettes’ repertoire in the show will draw from across the realm of popular music, with selections ranging from 1970s hits, the popular musical Six, the 2023 box office smash Barbie, and artists such as Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Harry Styles, Walk the Moon, and more.
The Chorvettes ensemble for Spring 2024 features Southeastern students Carla Becerra, Cameron Cavallini, Kyle Clements, Kyler Drake, Katie Fox, Tanasia Randle, Jude Scheibmeir, Mauricio Salazar, Kenneth St. Clair, Colours Starsick, Trey Wier, and Heaven Williams. The Chorvettes are under the direction of Southeastern instructor of voice Deborah Clements, with the Red River Revue choreographed by Rebecca Walters.
