The Southeastern Oklahoma State University Cheerleading team is headed to Daytona Beach, Fla., this week to compete at National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Nationals for the first time in program history.
The Savage Storm Cheerleaders are competing in the Spirit Rally Division II, which is made up of schools similar to Southeastern in athletic competition, akin to NCAA Division II size.
The team will leave from the Glen D. Johnson Student Union (1413 N. 4th, Durant) with a send-off. Students and fans are invited to send the team off! Media and fans are invited to this event!
THURSDAY, APRIL 11 – 8:04 a.m. CDT
The team will perform in the opening round of competition in Daytona at this time. There will be a watching party in the atrium of the Glen D. Johnson Student Union at this time. The event will also be streamed at http://tv.varsity.com (subscription required).

Teams will be re-ordered for competition based on Thursday’s scores, with the final performance taking place somewhere between 9:40 a.m. and 11:06 a.m. CDT.
